1.Dr. Russell will examine your smile.
We can’t wait to see you at one of our orthodontist offices in Athens, Grayson or Watkinsville! Dr. Russell and our team are known for creating incredible smiles and bringing good vibes and good energy to every visit.
You’ll meet Ross Russell, DMD, MS, who will become your personal orthodontist. He’ll dedicate his undivided attention to you every time you see us.
Dr. Russell will perform a visual exam of your smile and we’ll take some digital x-rays, impressions and photos to gain the full picture of your teeth, gums and jaw bones.
We use the advanced iTero® Element digital scanner to take accurate and precise digital impressions of your mouth, without the discomfort and messiness of traditional putty impressions.
Dr. Russell will use all of this information, from your visual exam, digital x-rays and impressions, to create your personalized treatment plan.
2. We’ll talk all-things-Invisalign!
At your first orthodontic appointment, we’ll discuss Invisalign, introduce you to the personalized Invisalign experience: the Doc Aligners experience. You can expect concierge care, convenient virtual monitoring, and personalized treatment levels to match your case complexity.
With Russell Orthodontics, virtually everyone is a candidate for Invisalign. But if you’d prefer to kick it old school and choose one of our braces options, Dr. Russell has the experience necessary to create phenomenal results with the treatment of your choice!
We’re known for having over two decades of Invisalign experience, but we also provide metal braces, clear braces, WildSmiles® designer brackets and Empower® self-ligating braces.
3. We’ll share our prices & create your custom payment plan.
We make transforming your smile affordable, because you deserve orthodontic care at a price that makes you feel comfortable. Like your treatment plan, your payment plan will be 100% customized to you and your needs.
We offer flexible payment options, including OrthoFi financing and CareCredit financing, and we accept most major credit cards. We also offer discount opportunities – a family member discount and pay-in-full discount.
If you have dental insurance, we’ll calculate your benefit and submit your insurance claims for you. We’re here to help you receive the maximum benefit from your plan. We accept most insurance plans, most PPOs, and TRICARE.
We know it sounds like a lot, but you’ll hear all of this again at your orthodontics appointment.
4. You start smiling!!!
Once your treatment plan and financing are squared away, Dr. Russell will take your digital Invisalign® scans to have your custom clear aligners designed. Your entire first visit may take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour.
