In our opinion, the greatest results are created through a completely personalized treatment plan! Your Invisalign treatment length will be determined on an individual basis, based on the severity of your condition and your compliance in wearing your aligners each day.
Doc Russell will give you an estimated treatment length at your complimentary consultation, after we take your x-rays and diagnostic photos to get the full picture of your smile.
Generally, the average treatment time with Invisalign is anywhere from 6 to 24 months, but your treatment may be longer or shorter depending on your circumstances.
The cost of Invisalign treatment will depend on the tier you choose through our DocAligners Invisalign Experience.
Our Touch-Up Invisalign Package is the least expensive package, while the Platinum Invisalign Package is more extensive and therefore more expensive, and the Diamond Invisalign Package is a meticulous plan that is our most expensive option.
On your first visit, we’ll work out a custom financing plan that makes your new smile possible. We offer OrthoFi financing as well as CareCredit financing.
We also accept most insurance plans and will submit your claims to help you receive the maximum benefit from your plan.
No, Invisalign does not hurt, but you may experience some tenderness or soreness the first few days after beginning a new set of aligners. This means that they’re applying the necessary amount of pressure to guide your smile into a beautiful alignment!
You shouldn’t experience ‘pain’ at all throughout your treatment process. Over-the-counter pain relievers, like Tylenol or Advil, can help ease the soreness whenever necessary. Once your teeth and gums get used to the pressure of your aligners, the soreness will subside.
Invisalign requires compliance. You should strive to wear your aligners through the day and night, for at least 22 hours, for them to be as effective as they’re designed to be.
You can remove your aligners to eat food, drink beverages (other than water), brush your teeth and floss your teeth. You can take them out temporarily as you need for the recommended amount of time per day.
Invisalign works in a series of clear aligner sets. Each set of aligners is custom-designed to guide your teeth one step closer to their beautiful end position.
Your clear aligners apply gentle but persistent pressure to your teeth to guide them into alignment.
We will give you multiple sets of aligners at once. As a general rule of thumb, every week, you’ll replace your current set of aligners with a new set.
You’ll get to complete virtual check-ins through the DentalMonitoring app for both you and Doc Russell to track your progress in real time. When you do visit us, Doc Russell will make sure that your smile transformation is still on the right track, and we’ll discuss any changes to your treatment plan, if necessary.
Yes, crowns shouldn’t pose a problem. Invisalign isn’t bonded to your teeth; it sits on top of your teeth. This means your aligners won’t pull on your crowns, because they aren’t adhered to your crowns.
If you have dental crowns and you’re considering Invisalign treatment, we encourage you to reach out to us! Every case is unique, so it’s difficult to tell whether your crowns will affect your Invisalign treatment until you visit us for your complimentary exam.
Just walk in the door, and we’ll take it from there. Your new smile starts here! Request your complimentary consultation.
